The wild wild west tour presses on to South Bend Indiana for the USA Shamrock Classic! We zipped up our jackets and despite the cold weather witnessed the kids get really excited about Disney XD! It’s safe to say that every kid was wearing Disney XD eyeblacks while making noise for their team with the thunder sticks! Jake, age 12, said, “I’m so pumped to send this Zeke and Luther postcard to my mom because she couldn’t make the tournament!”
As we were snapping pictures of the kids and all the stuff they had won, Matt asked, “what all the pictures were for?” We told him we were going to be putting them up on baseballyouth.com and he quickly ran over to his team to tell them they were going to be on the website and that they would definitely have to check it out!
As for South Bend is concerned, we didn’t stay long but we did have a chance to stop by Notre Dame and visit the fighting irish. Kari was really looking forward to meeting Rudy and was greatly disappointed when the boys told her that there was no way that would be possible…
