It's the grand finale for the Baseball Youth Road Trip West tour, and there's no better place to have the last setup than the Big League Dreams complex in Chino Hills. This place is a quite a dream park for young kids as they get to play at Yankee Stadium, Fenway Park and even Wrigley Field, complete with the ivy wall!
Everybody was excited to see us pull into the park even though it was a little after 7 in the morning. The kids were wide awake, and so were we once we got everything ready to go. Baseball cards, wristbands and candy went like hotcakes, and everybody was getting loaded up with plenty of prizes. It was hard for the players to concentrate on warming up with all the yelling and screaming that was going on at the BY Road Trip.
It was quite a journey to the West Coast, and hopefully everyone had a blast with us. We met so many new faces, and it was an awesome time spreading the word about Baseball Youth, The Nation's Baseball Magazine for Kids and our other sponsors. See you next year!
