The Baseball Youth Roadtrip made it’s way to Cooperstown, NY to the All-Star Village for another awesome tournament.
We’ve been used to waking up early in the morning and setting up in the heat, but this time we set up in 58 degree weather, we were freezing! From the moment we had the tables set up, we were swarmed with excited players and parents as they loaded up on all the goodies we had. We noticed that players started off with all the free Airheads they could handle, then they made their way to free Disney Frisbees and wristbands, after that they stuffed their pockets with Topps and Upper Deck Cards. Once they made their stops there they had no choice but to sit down, relax, and play some Backyard Baseball ’09 on our PS2 and Nintendo Wii.
The All-Star Village was a beautiful complex and we’re looking forward to going back on Thursday. We have one stop before that and it’s at Oneonta College for Baseball World where we hope to put smiles on faces. Be sure to keep checking out our website for our latest stops!
