We finally reached our first big tournament of the summer and boy was it a site to see. Southaven, Mississippi had a wonderful complex set and ready to go for the Snowden Grove Classic. We got set up on the opening night and were immediately bombarded with kids checking out our gear.
We rented out a record number of Louisville Slugger bats, the kids that used them so much they couldn’t wait to get their hands on their own. When they were done looking at all the Louisville Slugger gear they cruised on over to the Backyard Baseball and Airheads tent for some awesome video games, and sweet candy!
The Big wheel had its work cut out for it, as the kids lined up for a chance to spin for some awesome baseball cards from Topps and Upper Deck, and Disney Channel goodies! The Baseball Youth Road Trip was very welcomed for our first stop in Mississippi, and we can’t to get back to the wonderful atmosphere next year.
For our next stop we are traveling across the entire state to Gulfport, Mississippi. We will be at championship day for the Baseball at the Beach tourney, and can’t wait to get down there and hang out with the teams there!
