Grand Slam at the Beach was a great stop for the East tour on Baseball Youth Road Trip. The weather was perfect and all the kids were trying to stay cool under our tents while they weren’t between the lines.
Backyard Baseball was a hot spot as most the kids were trying to stay off their feet in between games. There wasn’t a better spot to take a load off than the Backyard tent where most of them played several games of baseball on the PS2.
The blowup-batting cage was the perfect spot for everyone to try out all the new TPX bats, and that’s what they did. There was a steady line all day for people to get their cuts in, even a few teams warming up for games.
The kids loved the Pack War games with the winning card being a Kenny Loften Upper Deck. He had the most career triples out of all the cards. That lucky fan took home a Michael Young figurine.
The East tour is excited to get the chance to be at the opening ceremonies for Simple The Best World Series. Hope to see you there!
