Who said you can’t play baseball in the rain? Luckily we got everything out and had plenty of time to hang out with the players before the Baseball Youth Road Trip was postponed due to rain. Kids of the Noblesville little league came out in full force, and took full advantage of all the great Topps and Upper Deck trading cards we were passing out.
We got the kids excited playing card games and pack wars for the chance to win even better cards and prizes that we brought with us. As teams showed up for the first games of the night they made sure to stop by our tents to check out what was going on. They all got the chance to spin our big wheel, full of chances to win great stuff from Baseball Youth, Disney, and much more.
Right before the first games started at the Field of Dreams ballpark, the rain hit and washed up our chance to stay out. We had to pack up our gear but that didn’t stop our crew from sticking around and watching some exciting wet baseball games.
We even got the chance to hang out and play a little whiffle ball homerun derby with some of the local kids. Even rain can’t keep the East Coast crew from having some fun. The kids loved hanging out and playing in the rain, it just goes to show that any weather is baseball weather. Even with Mother Nature against us, we found a way to have a great time in Noblesville, for the second day in a row!
