After a late night in La Vista at Slumpbuster, the Road Trip headed back across the Missouri River to Council Bluffs. Safely back in Iowa, we set up camp at the Council Bluffs Recreational Complex for the next few days at the Road to Omaha Tournament.
With the help of Cory Hahn from Louisville Slugger we rented out a record 77 bats over the two days. The '09 Triton continues to be a favorite, with kids raving at how much 'pop' the new bat possesses.
Kids left the park on Saturday afternoon with higher batting averages, tons of new cards to add to their collections, and with smiles on their faces. The road trip looked forward to a much needed Sunday off, and our first visit to Rosnebaltt Stadium for the College World Series.
