Back for our third Omaha Slumpbuster session, this was one we certainly will never forget. The festival was at the La Vista Sports Complex, and as everything got underway, massive dark clouds started to form above us. (Go figure.)
Just a few minutes into the festival the rain started, and we had to move to plan B. We took down the tents, fearing they would get blown over by the storm, and we actually ran the tour in the open. We got rained on that's for sure, but there was no way we were going to close shop when almost 1,000 people were there.
We had a blast in the rain, and so did everyone else. The prize wheels never stopped, and no one left our FanFest empty-handed. The following day was absolutely beautiful, and it was a great chance to dry some of our stuff out. This was the final Slumpbuster day, and we made it a good one as we gave out tons of baseball cards and other prizes to the kids as they finished up their games.
After more than a week in Omaha, it's time to head to the mountains. We're off to Denver! See you there!
